How we do pet odour removal differently
Pet accidents are the most common reason people call us, and the most common reason a previous clean “didn’t work”. Urine soaks straight through the carpet into the underlay. A surface clean makes the top look fine, then the smell returns on the next humid day.
We locate every spot with a UV torch and moisture probe, apply an enzyme treatment that breaks down the uric salts, then flush and extract from the underlay. For badly affected areas we can lift the carpet and replace a section of underlay.
How we treat pet odour

What we can and can’t get out
Straight answers instead of percentages. Anyone quoting you a “98% removal rate” made that number up.
Red wine & juice
Usually removed completely if treated before it sets. Older tannin stains lighten substantially.
Coffee & tea
Nearly always fully removed with enzyme pre-treatment. Heat-set stains may leave a faint shadow.
Pet urine & odour
Treated at the source, in the underlay — not masked. If it has reached the subfloor we tell you before we start.
Ink, dye & bleach
Often permanent. Bleach removes colour rather than adding a stain, so it can’t be cleaned out. We’ll show you colour-repair options.

We quote each job rather than publish a rate that turns out not to fit your place. But you should know what moves the number before you call.
Fixed price, confirmed before we start
Never an hourly rate. Never a number that grows once the van is in the driveway. The price we quote is the price you pay.
How many rooms, and how big
A room is up to 20m². Anything larger is priced as two.
Condition
Normal wear, heavy traffic lanes, or years of build-up — they take different amounts of work.
Fibre type
Wool needs lower heat and lower alkalinity than synthetic. It takes longer, and it matters.
Pet treatment and stairs
Urine has to be treated at the underlay, not the surface. Stairs are priced per flight.
Access and parking
A third-floor walk-up with no loading zone takes longer than a driveway. We say so up front.

Can you get rid of pet smells for good?
Usually, yes. Urine soaks into the underlay, so surface cleaning only masks it. We treat the source with enzyme and oxidiser treatments. If it has reached the subfloor, we will tell you honestly what is achievable before we start.
Why does the smell come back after I clean it myself?
Because the urine went through to the underlay. Surface sprays dry the top and the smell returns on the next humid day. We treat at the depth the urine actually reached.
How do you find all the spots?
With a UV torch and a moisture probe. Old urine spots are often invisible in daylight but show up clearly under UV.
Are your products safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Biodegradable pre-sprays, neutral rinses, and no harsh residue left in the fibres. That is the whole point of how we clean.
What if I am not happy?
