How Eco Mate Cleaning collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Eco Mate Cleaning (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and the address or postcode of the property to be cleaned.
- Details about the job — what needs cleaning, its size and condition, access notes and photos you send us.
- Payment records (we do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by our payment provider).
- Website usage information collected by cookies and similar tools (see below).
How we collect it
When you fill in a quote form, call, text or email us, book a job, or browse this website.
Why we use it
- To quote, schedule and carry out your clean, and to contact you about it.
- To handle re-cleans under our 7-Day Promise, complaints and insurance matters.
- To keep business, tax and accounting records.
- To improve our website and measure how our advertising performs.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we only send marketing if you’ve agreed to it. You can opt out at any time.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This website uses Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager and the Meta (Facebook) pixel. These tools set cookies that tell us which pages were visited and whether a quote form was sent. They don’t give us your name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google ads personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to do the job: our technicians, and service providers we use to run the business (for example, email, website hosting, booking and accounting software). Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it. We also disclose information where the law requires it.
How we protect it
We keep personal information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to people who need it. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it for the purposes above or to meet legal record-keeping requirements.
Access and correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@ecomatecleaning.com.au. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we’ll try to fix it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
