That information shapes both the method used and the products selected. For on-site cleaning, the curtains stay on the rail throughout. For off-site cleaning, they are carefully removed, bagged and labelled, cleaned off-site, and then rehung on return.

Step 2: Cleaning and Treatment

With the assessment complete, the appropriate cleaning method is applied. Most curtains benefit from an on-site steam or injection-extraction process – cleaning solution is worked gently into the fabric and then extracted along with loosened soil and allergens.
